The available rainfall data collected were daily measurements synoptic data (for the 3  countries namely Ethiopia, Sri-Lanka and Rwanda)

 For Bangladesh the data were collected from OGIMET

 

 10 to 25 years data were analysed to show the rainfall distribution in the past and which  monthly average rainfall amount may lead to flood based on some reports and news on  flood occurrence in the countries.
